Friday Favorites

Favorite picture:

Tessa has had quite a week. She was sick last weekend, then felt better and went to school, then woke up with pink eye. Because why not have pink eye join the party when we’ve had everything else the last three weeks? She also had bloodwork thrown in there too, so a new Lego set was in order for all this trouble.

Favorite food {Scout edition}:

This week Scout ran lots of errands with me, so she was treated to one of her favorite things: a pup cup at Scooter’s.

Favorite moment:

If you’ve read any sports news of any kind, I’m sure you’ve heard the name Caitlin Clark. She’s kind of a big deal at the moment. She plays for the Iowa Hawkeyes and has broken several records, including all time leading scorer in division 1 basketball, both men’s and women’s. She’s had an incredible basketball career so far, and she’s only 22 (there you go, Mom- you’re all caught up on who Caitlin Clark is😉). Next year she’ll be in the WNBA, and her very last game in Iowa was Monday night as the Hawkeyes played for a spot in the Sweet 16. Claire and I decided we needed to take advantage of this opportunity and go watch her play.

It was a close game, but thankfully we came away with the win, and we had so much fun (and a little bit of stress on my part😬) watching them play. We’ll be cheering them on again this Saturday!
