Friday Favorites

Favorite picture:

I could watch this girl run up this incline all day long. Because it wasn’t that long ago when we weren’t sure if she’d be able to walk properly, or without a gait trainer, or for long distances. We had no idea what to expect. But this week I watched her do her little lopsided run up this hill 10 times. And I thanked God for it.

Favorite kid quote:

Claire: “Everyone at school wears crocs. But I told my friends you think they’re the worst shoe to ever be invented.”

Favorite clothing item:

I have had these sneakers for several years and workout in them almost every day. I also wear them around my house when I know I’m going to be running around it all day. And they are wonderful.

Favorite food:

Don’t you love when you make a meal and every single member of your family is excited when they see it on the table? There’s usually always one person who isn’t a fan of what I’m serving, but that’s not the case with these little bundles. Everyone’s happy when they are on the menu, and negotiations about required number of bites isn’t necessary. Hallelujer.

Favorite moment:

The kids had off on Wednesday, so we headed to one of their favorite places: Ninja/U. I love that everyone, including Ben and myself, have numerous activities to do there. The kids could easily stay there all day and play. We all went out for lunch after, and then the girls and I ran to a few stores while the Max went to work with Ben. I feel like our lives have been so busy lately- constantly running places and then trying to play catch-up at home. This fun, chill day together was just what we needed.
