This was our summer of trips. Some big, some little- just lots of events happening that required some travel.
On our way back from Ocean City, we stopped halfway for a kid exchange. We dropped off our nephew Jacob and exchanged him for Claire’s friend Bella. She was going to spend the week with us, and then we would take her with us to a Bible conference in Ohio that her family was also attending. 
We broke her into the Iowa life quickly by having her husk sweet corn for dinner.
We had a fun week of river activities, 
movies,
late night baking, 
and shopping. 
Before we knew it we were packing up again and driving to Ohio.
We spent time with lots of friends, and listened to some powerful ministry from the word of God. It was a fantastic weekend and I really should’ve taken more pictures. Nevertheless, fun times were had.
