February was full of winter activities.
We traded in the backyard rink for a slightly more professional one.
Grace and Tess would skate while the hockey players rested. And then while hockey was going on they played in the suites and tested out chairs, which is apparently just as much fun as skating.
The girls hadn’t been skiing yet this season, so we went to a little mountain to freshen up their skills.
Grace is fearless. I’m so glad she has a neon pink helmet so we can spot her easily as she flies down the mountain. Max also likes speed and jumps, and Claire enjoys just meandering down at her own speed.
Tessa was still pretty nervous about falling, so she took things reallllllllll slow. But she made a lot of progress from last year!
We returned our gear, had a snack, and then went on the tubing hill.
We also cheered on the Eagles to a Super Bowl victory.
Claire, Max, and Ben went to a Bible conference in Michigan for the weekend, while the girls and I celebrated Valentine’s Day and a snow day.
Max, Grace, and Tessa have all had the same second grade teacher, and I’ve come in every year on Valentine’s Day to do games with their class.
Grace and her friends decided to make Valentine’s baskets for each other, so we had a little Galentine’s party after school so they could exchange them. It was pretty sweet!
Tessa joined in the festivities as well. Dressed as a paw patrol member of course. 🤷🏽♀️
The next day we woke up to a beautiful snowy morning. We relaxed by the fire, and then headed outside to finally get in some snow tubing.
And what better way to end cold, snowy days than with warm pjs, a fuzzy blanket, a nice fire, and High School Musical?
Looks like a good start to February
Winter fun but oh it looks so cold!!!
