Our weekend was a good, full weekend.
We had two events at the same time on Friday evening: The annual Father/Daughter dance at school, and ice skating/hockey at a rink we had rented with church friends. 
So while these three headed to the dance, I headed to the rink with the older two and some friends from Michigan who were visiting for the weekend. 
They went, they took pictures, they ate, they played with friends…and then they quickly changed and joined us at the rink until 10 pm.
We did some free skating, and then watched/cheered on the hockey players. And then skated some more. 
We also kept score and hit the buzzer when someone made a goal.
It was a good time, and we only incurred minor flesh wounds- sticks to the face and legs, pucks to the shin…stuff like that.
Saturday involved sleeping in, outside rides,
games, hot tubs,
and highly imaginative play. ❤️
