You know what’s one of my favorite things? Slow, easy weekends. I absolutely love them, and try to make them happen as much as possible because I love that time with the kids.
Ben and the big kids played late night hockey on Friday, so the girls and I did several rounds of Just Dance followed by all the new episodes of Bluey.
Tessa had been anxiously counting down the days until her friend’s birthday party, and the day finally arrived. It totally lived up to all her expectations- she loved every minute.
She also really, really wanted to bring her friend’s cat home. Because apparently our 5 cats and one puppy aren’t enough.
We stopped and picked up one of Grace’s friends after we dropped Tess at her party. And they did all the things.
And on Sunday another friend came over.
There was more sledding, with Scout keeping a very close eye on things.
The football teams we were cheering for didn’t win, we had one traumitizing teeth pulling incident, and ended up with one verrrryyyyy tired 10 year old by Sunday night- but other than that it was a pretty fantastic weekend. ❤️
