We’ve had Scout for two weeks already, and here’s how it’s going:
She loves people and other animals and will befriend all creatures. Our outdoor cats are still undecided if they want to be friends with her though.
She loves to play. She doesn’t care what the game is, she’s in.
She has had a total of three accidents in the house. Unfortunately for Max and Tessa, they both stepped in two of those accidents. 💩
She was very curious about the pool when the kids were swimming, and one day her curiosity got the best of her. She popped right up and did the doggy paddle, but she hasn’t gotten that close to the pool again. She looked like a little rat and we couldn’t stop laughing.
We love when she gets the zoomies because it’s the funniest thing to watch.
She goes to bed in her kennel around 10 and doesn’t make a sound until we get her out of the kennel in the morning, usually around 8. She doesn’t even make a sound at that time, except for the sound of her tail wagging rapidly.
So far she’s the easiest little dog. Sometimes she’s a stinker and tries to chew on the couch, but she does listen when we tell her no. For now.
Claire’s doing a great job of taking care of her so far. She already taught her to “sit”, and is working on getting her to ring bells when she needs to go out. 😂
Next up: a trip to the groomer to take care of that crazy hair.
