A couple weekends ago we bundled up to watch a Christmas light parade.
We watched the most beautiful sunset over the lake while we waited for the parade to start.
We also had sword fights.
And no one spilled their hot chocolate, so that’s a definite win.
The parade itself was a little underwhelming, but the fireworks that followed were spectacular! They also went on forever, until my mom and I no longer had feeling in our arms or legs.
But it was worth the frostbite.
