Our first official day of school is actually just back-to-school conferences. We get to meet teachers and drop off supplies for about an hour and call it a day of school. WINNING.
The school called a few weeks ago and asked if I could come make things fun and happy to welcome everyone back. Claire and I sure did our best with balloons and big signs, but is anyone TRULY happy for school to start?! 🤔 But I do believe these fun decorations soften the blow a little anyway.
I only had two kids with me at the elementary school this year. WHAT. IS. HAPPENING.
We dropped off their things, said hi to their teachers, and found/decorated their lockers.
They were feeling pretty excited after this visit.
We then headed up to Claire’s school to get her all situated. Max had his orientation later that evening and I took 0 pictures. 🤦🏽♀️
Just waiting on her pictures to arrive, but at least she has Grace peeping in her mirror.
We finished our first day of school, so we celebrated by going tubing.
And I’m going to make them all go tubing on super Mabel together for the rest of their lives. ❤️
