Today I’m linking up with Shay and Erika to take a look at our school pictures, which my kids loved looking through.
Look at those cool cats heading back to school with their high tops, scrunched socks, and back packs casually hung on one shoulder.
If I could sum up my school years in one word, I think it would be “BANGS”. Just take a look at all the different ways I styled them through the years….
The bangs finally departed junior year and haven’t returned. Sometimes I look at these pictures and think, “Why didn’t anyone introduce me to some tweezers for those brows, or maybe hand me an eyelash curler?!” But then I realize that I was completely confident without an ounce of makeup on my face all through highschool- and I sincerely hope and pray my girls feel the same way about themselves. Being yourself, and feeling confident in that person, is much more important than having perfectly manicured eyebrows. Trust me. My best advice for young girls living in these social media filtered days: be YOU, be KIND, and be CONFIDENT. Bushy eyebrows, crazy bangs and all. 💗

My personal favorite bang style is when they’re curled and then swooped up and back away from your face. That is a looooook!

We were in ohio this weekend and Cilla told me MacKenzie looked just like you at that age and now i can totally see it especially in that 3rd photo!!!
