I’m pretty sure I need a week off of school or any kind of schedule after every vacation. Last week was glorious- we slept in, we had big breakfasts, we got things unpacked and put away, and we all just enjoyed having nothing to do and nowhere to be. As an added bonus, the weather was beautiful and we enjoyed lots of outside time.
The pool’s not open yet, but the hot tub is available year round.
I had promised Tessa she could sleep in my bed with me once her tubies came out, so she came collecting on that promise. Grace joined us too, but opted for the floor.
Ben started adding an addition to the kids treehouse in the form of a look out tower. He’s going to create a rope bridge between them this week. Let us pray it holds. 😬
The girls all received some much-needed haircuts
and Claire crafted up some treats in the kitchen.
Did everyone feel refreshed and ready to get back at it this week after such a calm, relaxing week?
Nope.
But thankfully summer vacation is only two months away.
