Sadly, our snow is melting quickly and there doesn’t appear to be any more coming in the foreseeable future. But we certainly had fun with this last round.
With all that fresh, fluffy, powdery goodness, we had to make some snow cream. If you happen to still have some snow on the ground, here’s an easy recipe:
Step 1- Using a chilled bowl, step outside and gather some snow- about 8 cups or so. No worries if you’re in your pj’s and wearing a hair turban.
Step 2- Be sure you pick clean snow. Max’s first batch had a clump of cat fur in it. 🙄🤢
Step 3- Mix together 1 cup of milk, 1/2 cup of sugar, and 1 tsp of vanilla. Add this to the snow and stir until it becomes slushy.
Step 4- Add toppings and enjoy!
One without fur please!
