There really is nothing like watching snow fall by a warm fire. Or waking up to an unexpected snow day from school. Or enjoying the silence of a freshly fallen snow. Or ice skating on your own natural rink in the woods. Or eating monkey bread when it’s cold out. Summer is my favorite season, but winter sure has a lot of good qualities.
This train didn’t travel very far.
Tess finally gave skating a try! It only lasted for about 10 minutes because I had a death grip on her and wasn’t about to let her fall on those fresh surgical wounds and 10 minutes was a good enough amount of time for all that business. But she still enjoyed it and is happy that she can now say she has been ice skating.
I’m sure she’ll be keeping up with these two before I know it.
Having Max at the wheel of the Kubota is always an adventure.
And the sky shows off no matter what season it is.

Also, I salivated at the photo of monkey bread.
