I’ll admit that I’m not much of an animal person, especially in my home. We don’t have any pets inside- our two cats live outdoors and the kids take care of them. One cat stays in our garage and is fixed, so we sadly robbed her of motherhood. The other cat comes and goes, so we never had her fixed. And do you know what? I’m so thankful we didn’t. This kitten experience is actually a whole lot of fun and came at a perfect time. The kids LOVE them- and have done such a good job of taking care of them. 
Rain or shine, they go and check on the kittens every day. 
We decided they needed some kind of decent shelter outside, and found this adorable cat house on Wayfair. They love it! It’s situated under the kids treehouse, which is in our front yard. The tree provides nice protection for them, and they all just happily hang out there. Right now the kittens are super active and exploring all around their home, and we all love watching them run around and play. 
Since their house is close to our driveway, the kids thought it would be a good idea to put up a caution sign for drivers- because those kittens will be all over the place soon. 
What is our plan for all of these kittens? Well, we’re really, really hoping they will be like their mom and just come and go. There are fields all around our house and plenty of places for them to explore, so that’s what we’re hoping will happen. We’ll keep their house where it is so they always have food and shelter, but we’re planning on them turning into “field/farm/far away” cats as they get older.
For now, however, we are enjoying all the kitten snuggles and playtime, and hoping they don’t grow up too fast.

We are soaking up all this kitten time too! I really wish ours had had more, but we’d really struggle coming up with names for more than one! Love the little house. And ours are the same way. We like them just tame wniugh. They’re not inside. Must be good mousers! Lol.
