Nope, nope, nope. In my mind, he’s still 10. Which is easy to go along with because he’s still so little, and also because I keep secretly praying that he has Peter Pan powers and can stay little forever.
Max had a very low-key birthday this year. He didn’t want to do anything special, but he DID have one small request: that I install monkey bars in the basement.

He looks like an actual monkey swinging and skipping the bars with ease.
Between track meets and planting season, things were busy around here during his birthday. But we had still had a fun night celebrating him, and we even had a couple special guests visiting:

We cheered Claire on at her home track meet, had cookie cake and ice cream, opened presents,
and tested out the monkey bars.
And he loved it.
