Here’s a few things that have been going on around here lately…
Honestly, doing everything without Ben around is hard sometimes. Claire must have picked up on that, because she decided I needed a “Moms Day Off”. She left an invitation on my pillow, which included options for me to choose from for what I would like to do. 
She gave me a foot massage, back massage, did my hair, brought me a tray of food, and gave me “quiet time” (where she stayed and chatted away 😉). It was the absolute sweetest thing and I wish everyone could have a Claire. 😏
The kids helped me stock up on firewood in preparation for the coming snow and cold weather. 
Tess had the best snow day
and also snuck into the strawberries on the counter. 🙄
The kids traded in their Halloween candy for money and prizes at the dentist. Which I support 100%. 
Tess helped Ben combine in the snow for a little bit- before the snow shut them down. 
We made turkey cupcakes and cookies, 
and have enjoyed the most beautiful sunsets (even though they occur at 4:00😑).
