I haven’t posted in awhile because…..honestly, I just got out of the groove. I feel like I should have made up a much more interesting reason, though-like we escaped to an exotic island or I accidentally backed over my laptop with my car. But it is what it is…regular old life was just happening. But I sure did miss documenting my regular old life. So let’s get to it, shall we?
Last weekend I had a great Mother’s Day. The kitchen table was filled with all kinds of homemade gifts (and one non-handmade gift that I may or may not have picked out while shopping with my mom) and the kids were so excited to show me what they had made- all 312 pictures and crafts. 😉
But at least they still think I’m the best mom ever.
We had a special program and brunch at church that day, and we discovered how much Tessa likes being in front of a crowd.
After she got down she told me she’d like to go back up by herself- guess she had more to share with that applauding crowd. But alas, she had to share the stage with other kids.
At the end of the day, I realized I hadn’t even taken a picture with my own mom.
But hanging out in our comfy clothes is much more our style anyway. 😘
