Why is it that every day seems to fly by….even if it’s just filled with me cleaning toilets and folding laundry? It still goes by at an alarmingly fast pace. But here’s a few things that have been occupying our time lately…
Grace and Tess went to a birthday party for their friend Ruthie. It was a mystery party, complete with a set of clues they had to follow that led them to a fun surprise! Mustaches optional. Side note: Grace inhaled a piece of her mustache which led to an uncontrollable coughing fit and decided mustaches aren’t for her.
This is the town of Kittyville. Anyone who disturbs the peace will be chased out of town immediately.
We had Kids Bible Hour last week, with about 35-45 kids each night. It was a lot of noise and a lot of fun! My kids look forward to this every year.
Our river has been crazy the last few weeks. It started to melt, then turned into thousands of mini icebergs, then refroze in mini iceberg form, then started to melt again and move all the mini icebergs. And it turns out, mini icebergs are powerful and destructive. No wonder that big iceberg did such a number on the Titanic.
We had a lot of rain, and combined with the melting snow we started having water everywhere.
Since our backyard hockey rink is back to it’s liquid form, hockey happens either at the professional indoor rink or in our basement.
Thankfully it looks like more snow is headed our way this week, so the kids can have something to play in outside besides mud. Praise.
