Due to crazy cold weather, we ended up with a two hour delay on Valentine’s Day. The kids slept in, we made heart waffles and bacon, I slowly sipped my coffee, we did heart shaped hair braids, painted nails, and just has the best laid-back Valentine’s Day morning ever. It was wonderful.
Claire made her creative horse barn box all by herself. Grace and I worked on her unicorn box together. Max requested a baby Yoda box and mom delivered. Crafting has never been his thing. 😉Ben and Max left at noon to go to a Bible conference in Michigan. While Tessa napped, I set up a “Galentine’s” party since it was just going to be us girls at home.
Matching pj’s, popcorn, a big living room tent, and Frozen 2 made for a perfect ending to our Galentine’s Day party.
Someone’s first living room sleepover left her very tired the next morning. 😂While we did miss the boys, us girls sure had a fun time together. 💖

Stop it! I saw this quote and it seems fitting… you are the mom everyone wishes they had. What a fun night!

😂😂 Maybe every once in a while. But trust me, there are also moments where I am the mom that my kids would like to trade in for a different one. 😉
