The kids had off last Monday, so we took advantage of the day and made our annual trip to the pumpkin patch. Was it a chilly 45 degrees? Yes. Did we fight crowds? Not at all- which made the cold weather totally worth it.
Entire corn pool to ourselves? Yes please.
What else did we have to ourselves?
The big slide,
a hayrack ride,
the train,
the jumping pillows,
and everything in between. The only thing we had to wait for was the hot chocolate for the drive home.

I’d take a cold empty orchard over a crowded one any day!
