It’s been busy around here. Very busy, and very fun. But I haven’t even gotten around to documenting the first day of school this year, so let’s take care of that first.
Our first day of school is actually just conferences….the elementary kids meet their teacher and drop off their supplies. The middle school and high school kids check in with their homeroom teacher, grab their MacBooks and open/decorate their lockers. And it counts as a day of school. WINNING.
Claire had lots of help putting up alllllllllllll her locker decorations.
Meanwhile, Max just asked for a mug shot by his locker because apparently he’s “going back to prison.”
Official first day of 1st, 4th, 8th, and 10th grades.
Whyyyyyyyyyyyyy are they all so big.
Everyone had a great (or “ok”) first day.
And I stayed home with a pup and cleaned my floors.
