Hey mamas! I’ve got some random thoughts to share with you today that have been rolling around in my mind for a bit. Along with a couple hundred other things rolling around in there. My mind is a literal bingo ball cage.
Anyway, I’m here to tell you that whatever you’re feeling in your motherhood journey I’m sure I’ve been there too. Motherhood is one crazy ride with emotions that go all over the place, good and bad. I start out each day with the intent to make it a great one. Sometimes that happens, sometimes it doesn’t. AND THAT’S OKAY.
I’m so thankful after we’ve had a really good day and everyone goes to bed feeling happy. It’s the best and I savor those moments, because there are also nights when kids go to bed in tears and I feel so frustrated at the end of the day. I used to really lean into the mom guilt on those days, but I’ve been better at giving myself grace and realizing that I can simply just try to be better the next day.
A few simple things to remember at the start of a new week: you are exactly what your kids need, they love you no matter what, your life doesn’t need to look like anyone else’s, and each day is a fresh start.
