My first full year of being a sub at Grace and Tessa’s school is over. And while those early mornings and busy days kick my backside sometimes, I’m honestly so thankful I can do it.
I love being able to peek out the window and see them at recess.
I love taking them to school with me, and they love hanging out in whatever classroom I’m in (even better when your friend’s mom is subbing that day too).
I love being able to have lunch with them and their friends.
I love when the students are happy I’m there.
I love grading papers.
I love getting in on fun activities- like seeing baby goats and watching butterflies emerge from their cocoons.
Most importantly, I love having extra time with them while they’re at school. 🥰 It’s a pretty nice deal.
