Our weekend weather was beautiful…alllllllmost felt like the beginning signs of spring. Except it was only February 11th, so we know better than to start looking for spring.
We took advantage of the good weather and decided to go skiing. This was actually Grace and Tessa’s first time skiing, so we signed them up for private lessons.
Insert all the excited/nervous/scared feelings here.
Grace did a couple runs down the bunny slope with her instructor and he was like, “Yeah mom, she’s ready for the big hills.” And off they went. She LOVED it.
Tessa did a great job…but of course everyone was a little more nervous with her going down a hill. 🫣But her instructor took it nice and slow and she did fantastic. She loved it, but was pretty tired after her lesson.
Max likes speed and jumps. Help us all.
Claire’s our snowboarder and prefers to take her time down the mountain.
My ankle prevented me from joining in the festivities, but sitting by this lovely heater and watching everyone come down was pretty nice! When Tess was done, she enjoyed some snacks and played in the snow while the others did more runs.
Next we headed over to the tubing hill.
She was a BIG fan. She also never had to move a muscle.
5 happy, tired people after a fun day.
