This is what January of 2022 looked like for Tessa.
There was a lot of early mornings, covid tests, dressing changes, anesthesia, drain care, compression garments, painful moments, and a constant fanny pack.
Fast forward to January of 2023.
We met with Tessa’s vascular team at Mayo last week, and that is when one of her doctors told me how completely amazed she is by Tessa’s progress. Her surgeon and radiologist are very pleased with how everything looks, and we are hoping to wait a couple years before Tessa needs any more procedures. She has several cysts that could use sclerotherapy at some point, but they are not causing any trouble at the moment so we’re going to wait until it becomes necessary, or until Tessa can tolerate an MRI without sedation.
So at this moment, Tessa does not have any upcoming appointments at Mayo. PRAISE.
We know that can change very quickly for her, but we’re going to bask in these good moments right now. God has gotten her so very, very far, and we know that He will continue leading the way and continue to amaze her doctors.

That gave me the chills. Incredible! Our God is an awesome God. Also, that picture of her by the window in her little fuzzy jacket is just so cute!
