Last weekend, Grace had her first sleepover at someone else’s house. She’s never wanted to sleep at anyone’s house before, but she and her best buddy Maggie have been making sleepover plans for Maggie’s birthday for the past several months. Grace couldn’t decide if she actually wanted to stay overnight, but she went for it and had the BEST time. She was so sad when the weekend was over and is already busy planning their next sleepover.
They are two little peas in a pod, and have the sweetest friendship.
Someone did not want to sleep in her room without Grace there, so she had a sleepover in my room.
And somehow the oldest girl is old enough to do this legally. HOW?!?!?!?! I mean, she can barely reach the pedals! Thankfully she really has no desire to drive, and we’re certainly not pushing it. I’ve only let her drive down our deserted gravel road so far and we’re all happy with that.
We saw Pop Pop out doing his thing one day! Give him a big tractor and a wide open field and he’s a happy man.
Tessa visited the fire station this week and was able to ride on top of a firetruck! She told me she didn’t really want to put on this fire gear, but her friend told her it would be fun so she tried it out. She said it actually wasn’t really fun, it was just heavy.

Yay for GiGi❣️ Glad she had a great time. Those two remind me so much of
Kel and Chels.

Love that Gracie had a good time! Now they’ll be asking for sleepovers every weekend 😛
Also, still not over Claire behind the steering wheel…
