Our kids love the pool and beach in Florida, but their absolute favorite part of our annual Christmas trip isn’t either one of those things. It’s spending every day with all of their friends.
And each one of these kids were so sweet to Tess: playing on the beach with her every day, or playing with her on the side of the pool. She was always a part of the fun.
For whatever reason, the girls all played chickens every day. One girl was the chicken owner, trying to feed and wrangle her wild chickens into their beach coop every day.
Besides being chickens, there was also a lot of football
and volleyball
shell hunting
and ocean swimming
(even after a shark sighting. 😳 Not for me- I was done after this guy was caught right next to us. I’m pretty sure that’s human blood on his teeth).
There was poolside cookie decorating
and Top Golf for the fellas.
Ben and Max lost a bet, and were forced to wear these rather unattractive tshirts.
And of course there were several trips to Candy Kitchen.
There were gorgeous sunsets,
nighttime swims,
and Uncle Josh’s spectacular NYE fireworks display
which Tessa thought was best enjoyed from behind the storm door.
We 💛 you, Florida. And we ❤️ all these good buddies.
Love that they have so many buddies! Especially Max and all of those dudes. Too fun!
Loved seeing all the kids together having fun! Friendships made!
