All this week I’ve been thinking about and praying for the people in Texas. What an awful situation. I’m actually pretty sure we’re still in 2020…it’s like, December 80th or something. Iowa was crazy cold this week, but thankfully it was pretty uneventful.

Favorite clothing item:
I think I’ve worn this sweatshirt at least once a week since I got it. As soon as it comes out of the wash I wear it again. I bought mine for $10 cheaper in the store than what the online price is, however. I actually think it’s the perfect weight to transition into spring- it’s not heavy at all. But it’s oh-so-comfortable.
Favorite food:
Don’t you love when you put dinner on the table and every single person says, “YES! I love this dinner!” It’s a pretty rare occasion around here. This meal is one that gets that reaction, and it’s perfect for busy nights because it’s all in the crock pot.

That moment when the temperatures finally get out of the negatives and the kids can get outside again.
