First of all, I want to wish my momma a great big HAPPY BIRTHDAY today!
I hope you keep crossing things off your bucket list this year, Mom. 😏
Here’s a bit of what we’ve been up to lately- nothing too exciting, just the normal busyness of life.
Harvest is in full swing around here- which means early mornings and late evenings for Ben, single parenthood for me, lots of running around for my poor mother-in-law, and eating meals in the field. But the kids have extra time to ride in the combine this year, so that’s a nice perk. Tessa already had her turn, and loved every minute.
Tess and I visited our favorite nursery to grab some pumpkins and mums, and it was such a perfectly fall day to do it. She loves going here and seeing all the animals (and picking up every. single. small pumpkin she sees).
Saturday had us back at horse lessons for Claire. While she rides, the other kids climb on hay bales, climb on pallets of stall pro (I’m not even sure what was in these if I’m being perfectly honest🤷🏽♀️) or climb on any other structure they find in the arena.
Our weather has been absolutely beautiful, so there has been a lot of outside time. And of course a lot of kitten time.
We continued getting into the fall spirit by buying all the pumpkin things from Trader Joe’s.
Tess took her excitement for fall one step further by covering her face with fall themed stickers. Girlfrand is ALL IN.
