Hey there! I’ve missed recapping my life on this little corner of the internet, and checking in with my other blogging buddies! We’ve been doing all kinds of fun things the last 5 weeks, but I’m happy to be back in my home and getting back to a “normalish” routine. Well, as much of a routine as summer allows, that is.
On June 1st, we packed up the car, picked my mom up in Chicago (she flew there from NJ to help me drive), and started making our way to my sister’s house in Boston. It’s 20 hours away. Yes, TWENTY.
We stopped at my sister-in-law’s in Michigan for a couple nights, which was a perfect break in our long trek across the country.
There were swings,
swimming, toys, scooters, and lots of good food, including popsicles. But the best part, of course, was the extra cousin time. After a fun couple of days there, we packed up again and continued our journey to Boston. Thankfully our travels were really easy, as most states that we traveled through were still in quarantine. It was so strange to drive through cities with hardly any cars on the road, so there’s one positive from this crazy COVID situation. More of our adventures to come!
