Claire finished her last year of elementary school this year. I can’t believe that she’s headed to middle school next year, because I’m fairly certain I just tearfully dropped her off in her Pre-K classroom not that long ago. 
I mean, how did all these years pass by so quickly?
Claire is sad to be done with elementary school, and nervous about middle school. Especially because she wasn’t even able to have the tour of the middle school that they usually get at the end of 6th grade. Since she also missed out on their graduation ceremony and celebration, we decided to have a few of her besties over to celebrate instead.
They all signed/decorated each other’s hats, and then we visited the elementary school.
Next year will be full of changes (hopefully not crazy changes…like, more virtual learning😬) but I have no doubt that Claire will handle it all in stride.
