I had been looking forward to this baby shower for several months. I couldn’t wait to celebrate my sister’s first baby with her, and we had a nice collaborative team going with the moms, myself, and some great friends/relatives who live by her. The planning was going great, even from a distance, and everything was coming together so well.
And then Coronavirus happened.
Thankfully, the shower was still able to go on, even though some of us had to cancel our travel plans at the last minute. Yes, I still had shower decor in my suitcase in Iowa- and I bawled my eyes out the entire morning of the shower while my sweet sister-in-law took a video for me-but everything looked so pretty, my sister had a wonderful time, and she was showered with beautiful gifts for baby boy.
So in the midst of all that is happening in our world right now, I thought I would share some happiness with you. ☺️
Kelly is having a boy, and her husband is a hunter. So we thought a woodland theme would be very fitting. 
The Grandma’s. This is the first grandchild on Kelly’s husband’s side of the family. It will be the 13th on our side of the family. And as you can see from my mother’s expression, she’s used to this gig…but can’t wait for number 13. 😉
Baby boy Procopio, you are so loved already. I’m sorry I had to miss this celebration, but I’m so thankful that you and your beautiful momma were showered with such love. It’s going to take more than a virus to keep us away after you enter this world, however! We can’t wait. 💙
