As I mentioned on Monday, Easter was a little rough this year. There were still many moments of joy, but it’s hard to do something so differently than what you’re used to. With that being said, however, the kids had the best day ever and Tessa cried when it was bedtime because “she didn’t want Easter to be over”. So I’m thankful that my emotions didn’t put a damper on their enjoyment.
Tessa had been anxiously awaiting the day that she could hunt for eggs. And she loved every second.
Since the weather was so bad, we had a super chill day inside which included cookie decorating, lots of play time, and a pretty table decorated by the girls.
Was it a perfect day? No. But I’m thankful that the reason why we celebrate IS perfect: God’s gift of His Son, sent to this earth to die for our sins and then be raised up from the dead.
Looks like a fun time for the kids-love the floppy ears😂😂
