I couldn’t decide if I was really cool enough to pull off “mom jeans”, even though I am, in fact, a mom. But after putting on this pair of mom jeans and realizing they were the most comfortable things ever, I decided I actually didn’t care. I’m a mom, and I deserve to wear mom jeans.
Favorite food:
My sister is fueling my current obsession with Half Baked Harvest, and this cookbook showed up at my house this week. 😍There are MANY things in here I can’t wait to try. This week’s favorite? This schnitzel right here…because who doesn’t love schnitzel?! Also, I didn’t realize that the girl behind Half Baked Harvest is the sister to Red Gerard, the snowboarder who won gold in the winter Olympic Games in 2018. And apparently he loves schnitzel too.
Also, my kids love broccoli cooked this way…as in, they ask for more helpings of it. And when a kid asks for more of anything, especially vegetables, at dinner you just keep on making it that way. #amiright

Favorite moment:
Behind our house there’s an area where the river overflows a bit, and the water is only several inches deep. In the winter it freezes solid, making a perfect spot for a little skating rink. The kids have been having so much fun skating back there, and Ben has been working with Claire and Max on their hockey skills. I love watching him teach them. ❤️
