Yes, I realize that Thanksgiving was over two weeks away. Honestly, life has been absolute craziness the past two weeks with several parties, concerts, dances, programs, and everything in between. It’s been a lot of fun, but also very busy. This week is a bit of a breather as we prepare to leave for Florida on Friday, so I have some catching up to do. 😏
Back to Thanksgiving. We spent it in one of our absolute favorite places this year: Ocean City, NJ. She was all decorated for Christmas, and we loved it. Most of my family was in attendance, so there was no shortage of noise, laughter, food, or fun. Which is just the way we like it. To kick things off, my little sister had a very special announcement to make that we have been waiting years to hear: she and her husband are expecting their first baby in June! And we are just a little excited. Food prepping started right away in the morning on Thanksgiving. Things would have gone a lot faster but the master chef (pictured above) is constantly goofing off. 😉 Like, constantly. We’re always telling her to settle down. There was lots of relaxing and football watching,
and lots of crafting thanks to Aunt Naomi and her tubs of wonder. and of course there was a lot of delicious food.
But the best part of the day? Spending time with family.
