More on Grace’s birthday coming next week, but we had the best day celebrating her and she loved every minute. Also loving the fact that her outfit involved multiple crazy prints.

Grace, as she was going to bed: “Thanks for the best birthday in the entire world, mom. Also, I don’t need my closet light on at night anymore because now I’m 7.”

This t-shirt is so great for leggings and layering. Which is all I’m wearing these days.
Favorite food:
This hot chocolate is a favorite. It so easy and makes a nice big batch of perfectly smooth and creamy cocoa. Or so I’m told- I’m allergic to chocolate. 😑 For reals.
Crock Pot Hot Chocolate:
1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream
14 oz sweetened condensed milk
6 cups milk
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
2 cups chocolate chips
Combine all ingredients in crockpot and cook on low for two hours, stirring occasionally.

Favorite moment:
The kids and I lining the driveway with luminaries for Grace’s drive by birthday parade. It’s moments like these when I’m so thankful for the extra time I’m getting with them this year. Because there’s also a lot of days when things are just plain crazy.
