Life lately has, as usual, been flying by. Thankfully the rain let up for a bit and the boys have finally been busy in the fields!
And then this happened yesterday…
What the what?!?!
Listen, I’m the girl who starts decorating for Christmas the day after Halloween…and I love a little snow during that time.
BUT NOT BEFORE HALLOWEEN.
This was just kinda depressing. Thankfully it’s supposed to be back up to the 50’s and SUNNY this week, so all this white stuff that showed up too early to the party will leave and we can get back to fall.
Tess is the 4th child, and has had to endure some rough days, so she’s very a little spoiled. She’s also two, and sometimes very a little terrible. She enjoys things like sitting on the coffee table, playing with my decor, playing in her bed when she’s supposed to be sleeping, and making the biggest messes wherever she goes.
But we’re so thankful she’s feeling good and able to explore…so we let her do it.
Lazy Saturday mornings spent in festive jammies while enjoying cinnamon rolls are our favorite.
I was able to leave Tess with my mom and enjoy lunch with the older 3 kids the other day. Lunch with the tiny little 4 year olds was the quietest. And lunch with the 8 year old boys was the loudest.
Claire’s group was the easiest- no one was sucking on their fingers or dipping their sandwich in ranch dressing or constantly tapping my arm. But it was all fun nonetheless.
