We picked the most beautiful day to float down the river by our house. It was hot, so the water felt glorious and we had a gentle breeze helping us cruise our way down the river.
Just a couple of moms trying to peacefully enjoy the river float. Did our kids follow us no matter where we went? Yes, yes they did. We hopped out of the big tube, they hopped out of the big tube. We hopped back in the big tube and within moments the big tube was full of children again. I guess it’s a good thing they like us. 😏
We also stopped and chatted with some new friends along the way.
The next day we cruised the river by boat. And also jumped off the boat.
We enjoyed all the sunsets, night swims, star gazing, and evenings by the fire that we could get. Except for one night when I was too tired to move and so we just watched frogs climbing up (and falling off) the windows.
On our final day together, we decided to have some indoor fun at the Mall of America.
This lady understood the assignment.
The week went by way too fast, and I’m already counting down until the next time we’re together.
Which better not be in 13 years.
My goodness I miss star gazing and our rescue rocket plan🤣. Seriously- what an awesome week! 13 years was way too long- next time needs to be better than that:). Love you guys❤️❤️
