We spent NYE at our favorite spot: 400 Beach Seafood & Tap house in St. Petersburg. We dine outside, right across from a park that is filled with lights and live music. They light off fireworks at 8:00, and we are able to watch right from our table. After dinner, we walked over to the park to do a little dancing (in Grace and Tessa’s case) and check out the lights. https://dwellinginhisrichness.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/01/c381b269f00e43a89a499210ef506143.movFrom there we headed back to our condo to have our own little celebration. My brother Josh (aka Mr. Pyromaniac) left us with some fireworks, so Ben and the big kids went down to the beach to put on a little show for us (and our neighbors). By the end everyone was chanting “We want more!” so I’d say he did a pretty good job. But alas, we had no more. Come back next year, folks- we promise to up our game. https://dwellinginhisrichness.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/01/IMG_4282.movAfter the fireworks, the little girls went to bed and these two stayed awake until midnight to watch the ball drop with us. And as you can see, staying awake was not an issue for them whatsoever.
