Blogging kind of got away from me last week. I’m at the point where I feel like I need school to start so we can establish some kind of schedule again, but I’m also really not ready for school to start. Our days are very carefree and unscheduled, but somehow always busy. Just how summer should be I guess…but maybe it’s about time we get on a schedule of sorts so I feel like my life is someone orderly and I can actually clean my house. But here’s a bit of what we’ve been up to lately…
Grace had volleyball camp and Max had football camp…but there are no pictures of Max because he would actually strangle me if he saw me taking a picture of him at camp.
There have been friends and late night swims and sleepovers.
The mom pack headed to an outdoor market with live music and then stayed overnight in Galena, IL to celebrate the last one of us to turn 40. We got her the cutest cupcakes…
but something happened and somehow they looked like this when we presented them to her.
Which made us laugh hysterically.
As did this bird. It was a good time.
We also had the most gorgeous day for our Sunday school picnic.
And finished up school shopping with a stop at Culver’s.
And Scout’s just been over here blending into my rug. And occasionally pooping on it.

And just like that summer is ending!
