Our weekend was fun. And busy. But more fun than busy.
Friday was glorious…74 and sunny. As an added bonus, the kids got out of school at 1, so we could actually be out enjoying the weather! Sure, they got out early because we were under a severe storm warning/tornado watch starting at 3, but we took advantage of every moment we had in that weather! Coming right behind the storm was more cold weather. Boo.
Claire headed to a birthday party (where I kept tabs on her throughout the storm…all was well), and Max’s good buddy Dominic came over. Good times all around.
We headed inside before things started looking all crazy. Thankfully it wasn’t too bad in our area.
On Saturday morning the girls had a 3 hour dance practice in preparation for their recital, so while they were practicing I did some decorating.
Dominic’s dad and sister came over on Saturday and there was lots of outdoor time.
And inside fun too.
