We did some Christmas Eve celebrating with Ben’s family,
and got our gingerbread cookies all ready to go.
This year, Christmas in Florida actually felt like Christmas.
Yes, it was actually 34 degrees with a wind chill advisory.
But at least we had a fire.
We didn’t mind the cold temperatures on this particular day, because there were presents to open!
We opened all the things and then had a relaxing breakfast.
My parents and two of my brothers and their wives arrived the night before, along with my sweet nephew Fox. So they all joined in on the Christmas morning festivities too, even though I only took this picture of Fox with his presents.
Some of the crew decided to go bowling later in the day, while others worked on puzzles and pushed Fox around in his new bike.
We had a fantastic meal cooked by my sister-in-law, and enjoyed the relaxing day together. Inside, where it was warm.
I guess it was a good thing Tessa got this fleece cat costume for Christmas this year.
Aunt Kel says
That really was a great temperature for “Christmas”! Fox looks thrilled with his gifts 😍 Those bikes are great!
Also, Tess is killing me in that cat costume 😂
