Let me start by saying that if you haven’t watched this movie yet, you definitely should. And you should do it with a box of tissues close by.
I had always heard For King and Country put on really good concerts, and a few weeks ago we were able to see for ourselves if the rumors were true.
They are. It was fantastic.
Pictured: 6 happy, excited people ready for the concert to start.
Not pictured: 1 crying 10 year old, 1 frustrated mom, and 4 helpers trying to retrieve the afore mentioned 10 year old’s Birkenstocks from underneath the risers. 🤦🏽♀️ Grace kicked off her sandals the very second that we sat down in our seats, which fell down onto the next level and then about 3 feet down under the risers that we were sitting on. Thank goodness it was before the concert started, because Claire ended up moving the chairs in front of us all the way forward and shoving her lower body under the risers to grab the sandals with her feet. It was pretty impressive, and definitely saved the day because Grace was horrified thinking she would have to be in her socks all night.
DJ Tessa (who does not appreciate loud noises) was a vibe.
As usual, pictures don’t do it justice. But we had such a great night (minus the Birkenstock episode right at the start…but an evening filled with songs of forgiveness, love and mercy blotted that incident out) and we cannot wait until we can see them again. Since my videos definitely don’t give the same experience, enjoy this one instead:

Looks like a fun night!
