As usual, life has been flying by. But with good things.
Our weather has been FANTASTIC. I mean, we haven’t seen rain in approximately 147 days…and I know my Christmas decor would probably look a little better with a dusting of snow…but part of me is loving the fact that I can still go outside without all the extra cold weather gear.
We took a trip to the track, and Claire very sadly discovered that Max can now beat her in the 100 m dash. She’s determined to take that victory back, however.
Grace and Tessa got their playhouse ready for the holidays and are currently selling hot cocoa. Even though it’s not necessarily cold enough for hot cocoa yet.
When you only have one boy and a very kind older sister, that older sister becomes very good at throwing a football.
Not only can she throw a football, she can also drive herself to school. π³ Claire was a nervous wreck for her driving test, but she passed and is very thankful it’s behind her. Does she want to drive herself to school? No. But at least she has all the proper documentation for when that day comes.
Grace’s bff Maggie spent the night and these girls played and played and played. And ran around outside in their bathing suits while listening to Christmas music in November.
Tomorrow we head to Boston to spend Thanksgiving with my sister and we are soooooooo ready to see them. β€οΈ
So we’ll see you next week with another life update. Happy Thanksgiving!

So envious of that weather! Cold weather with toddlers is tough!
I would love a visit to that cute little hot cocoa stand.
Cannot wait for you all to get here!!! π€π€π€
Betty Mccandless says
The cocoa stand will have a thriving business when that cold weather hits!
Congratulations to Claire for getting her permit! And donβt let Max outrun you!
Whatever is Scout going to think when her grass turns white?!!
