Somehow the week got away from me and now it’s Friday already.
And it’s November, the start of the most wonderful time of the year. 🎄
But before we address that, let’s get caught up on all the halloween fun.
Winter decided to pull a sneak attack on us, and we were not prepared. Both the trunk or treat last weekend and trick or treating were around 32 degrees….and we don’t have thick winter blood quite yet. So we were coldddddddd.
Despite the chilly temps, however, a lot of fun was had. It just came with a side of frost bite.
We had a lot of cute and creative cars for the trunk or treat…
and even a corn pool, which the kids LOVED.
There was warm apple cider, hot chocolate, snacks and crafts inside so everyone could warm up.
On Halloween, I stopped by Tessa and Grace’s classrooms before the school parade. Tessa completely changed her look, and Grace’s classroom was full of wild flamingos. Halloween was off to a good start.
The flamingos tho….their squatty walk/shuffle was the funniest thing to watch.
We came home, ate a warm dinner, and bundled up for trick or treating.
We saw friends and teachers, we got lots of candy, and we didn’t freeze to death. It was a good night.

Any tummy aches from too much candy?!

Such cute trunks!
Also, your kids crack me up with their costumes every year 😂 the flamingos!!!
