What a difference a year makes. Last football season Max was stressed, nervous, and the smallest kid on his team. This year, he was confident, excited, and still the smallest kid on his team.
But he did have someone similar to his size this year at least. Without helmets, however, this kid is still taller than Max.
He had a new coach this year, who was a huge encouragement to him and made the season enjoyable.
They were also undefeated, which is always nice.
We had beautiful weather the entire season and it went by so fast. I love that he had more confidence and encouragement this year, and how he loved game days. Maybe….just maybe….he won’t be the smallest next year. 😉
