Tomorrow is our last day of school!!! I can’t even believe it, and I am so ready for it. But first, here’s a look at what’s been going on around here lately….
After being with us through the planting season, my parents headed back to NJ last week. And took Gibby with them, much to my kids’ disappointment.
Tess snuck in one last “swing swing” before they left and then she and Grace watched until their car was out of sight.
There’s always some kind of dress up situation happening with these two.
Grace had Bearcat relays, and it was my first school event where I attended without any kids in tow. Which made me a little sad.
While Grace did relays, Tessa went “camping” at the park with her class. Not only did she match Grace, but she also matched her teacher.
Meanwhile, Max’s class took a field trip to the capital and the zoo.
I think one of the sweetest things to see is when one of the kids goes on a trip somewhere and comes back with souvenirs for their siblings. ❤️ I remember doing this growing up, and I love watching my kids do it for each other. Max was so excited to give Grace and Tessa the snow globe he bought for them. Claire received a stuffed ostrich. 😂
Tess helped me set up some balloons for a graduation/going away party for a super sweet foreign exchange student from Germany.
During recess for the past 3 months, Grace and her friends have been planning a sleepover party. We finally found a weekend that worked for everybody (except one friend…but we assured her we’d have a pool party with her soon) and they were just a liiiiiiiiiiiiiiitle bit excited that their plans were coming to fruition.
It was a lot of energy and not a lot of sleep, but they were so good and had SO MUCH FUN.
Grace was just a little tired the following afternoon.
Fun week! So glad it’s the last 2 days of school🙌. Balloon arch turned out great as usual😉

I’m pretty sure they were an online purchase from Walmart. She loves them! They do run small, however.
