Thanks to thunderstorms and excessive excitement, this guy was up at 6 am the morning of his birthday.
He opened one gift from Claire, ate his favorite glazed donuts for breakfast, and took more donuts to share with his class at school.
Later that day he opened more presents, enjoyed his requested dinner of pasta, breadsticks and cookie cake, and started building all the legos he received.
He wanted to go to Get Air with just a couple of his friends, so that’s where we headed on Saturday. With a couple other friends in tow as well.
We were the first ones there, so we quickly ran around and enjoyed having the place to ourselves before the Saturday crowds started showing up.
Ben was able to join us due to all the rain we’ve had, and the boys loved having him for dodgeball.
At one point we realized we hadn’t seen the boys for awhile, so Ben went looking for them. He couldn’t find them anywhere, but then we noticed a few blocks moving in the foam pit where we had seen them last. Turns out they dug to the bottom and decided to just hang out down there for a bit. š¤¦š½āāļø
Next we headed to Famous Dave’s so Max could eat his weight in ribs.
And then back to our house where the boys ran around outside playing laser tag and then ran some more playing kickball.
And according to Max it was the best day ever.
Kelly says
Sounds like the perfect day for celebrating Max! Also, if I could have just a 1/4 of his energy, Iād be doing okay š¤Ŗ
