Since we went to Disney the week before spring break, the kids had off all last week. Which was actually really, really nice. We had great weather and the lack of schedule made us all ready for summer to arrive. They were home for St. Patrick’s Day, so everyone made a leprechaun trap and strategically set them up the night before.
But it was to no avail. That sneaky leprechaun fooled them once again, but did leave some chocolate coins and decorations on their bedrooms doors.
We had a relaxing morning with a festive breakfast
and took a trip to the library for some books, a shamrock hunt, and cute little crafts.
And ended the day with some homemade shamrock shakes. 🍀

A week off is seriously the perfect way to come back from vacation!
