This weekend we got our tree all decorated. Well, mostly decorated. We need a new star and I might add more ribbon, but she’s up and sparkling and bringing joy.
And of course the most exciting part of the decorating the tree is climbing the ladder.
Or decorating the ladder. And yourself.
Every year I see a lot of people with picture perfect trees.
We are not those people.
Our tree is a hodgepodge of handmade ornaments, kid ornaments, ornaments from places we’ve been, baby ornaments, and everything in between. I love how excited the kids get finding all of their ornaments and talking about each one. This hodgepodge, perfectly imperfect tree is my favorite.
We even found a headless princess this year.
We finished off the evening with ice cream and the new Clifford movie. ❤️
